Our Story

Where Celebrate Online Began

Celebrate Online began quite unexpectedly, with a family celebration of our own. My daughter was organising a surprise 30th birthday party for my son and, knowing that I create websites for clients, asked if I could make a special webpage for the occasion. She wanted one beautiful place where guests could find all the party details, RSVP, view information and simply scan or follow a QR code rather than relying on a traditional invitation. As I began creating the page, I realised what a wonderful idea it was — not just for our family, but for anyone wanting to make an important celebration feel more personal, organised and memorable. And that is where Celebrate Online began.

Creativity, design and preserving memories have been part of my life for more than 25 years. My journey began in the craft and scrapbooking industry in 1999, eventually leading to retail stores, a long-running wholesale business and, more recently, digital design, photo editing and memory projects. Throughout those years, one thing has remained constant: I love finding creative ways to bring photographs, stories and special moments together.
Celebrate Online feels like a natural extension of that journey — combining my love of design with modern technology to create something that people can genuinely use and enjoy.

For me, a celebration page should be much more than an online invitation. It can begin as the place where your guests discover the details of your event, RSVP and prepare for the day, then become part of the celebration itself through photographs, messages and features such as the Celebrate Online Live Wall Camera. Afterwards, it can continue as a beautiful online space filled with the photographs, stories and memories created along the way. Whether it is a birthday, wedding, anniversary, engagement, baby celebration, retirement, memorial or another important occasion, the idea is the same — to bring people, moments and memories together in one beautiful place.

You may also notice tiny touches of sparkle throughout Celebrate Online. They are there for a reason. Swarovski crystals have long had a special place in my creative life, and my Le Crystelle story grew from the idea that even during life’s more difficult seasons, we should notice the little moments of happiness and join the dots of the happy thoughts. I have carried a little of that philosophy into Celebrate Online. The sparkle is subtle, but to me it represents joy, beautiful memories and those special moments worth holding onto — because sometimes the smallest details are the ones that make a celebration truly unforgettable.
